Cha Eun-woo Enlists in Active Duty on the 28th, Serving in the Army Military Band

Cha Eun-woo, a member of the group ASTRO and an actor, will enlist in active duty on the 28th to fulfill his military obligations, as announced by his agency.

The agency Fantagio stated in an official announcement that "Cha Eun-woo will enlist in active duty and serve in the Army Military Band." After entering the training center, Cha Eun-woo will undergo basic military training and then fulfill his military service in the Army Military Band.

Ahead of his enlistment, Cha Eun-woo held a communication session with fans through a YouTube live broadcast the day before. During the broadcast, he revealed his short haircut and shared his thoughts on enlisting.

Cha Eun-woo said, "It's amazing that such a day has come for me," and added, "This is the shortest my hair has been since I was 2 or 3 years old." He continued, "I will go and come back healthy. I wish you all the luck in everything you do," expressing his affection for his fans.

Debuting in 2016 as part of ASTRO, Cha Eun-woo gained great popularity through hit songs like 'You Are My Star' and 'Confession.' At the same time, he has been active as an actor, appearing in dramas such as 〈My ID is Gangnam Beauty〉 and 〈Wonderful World〉.
