A Korean in his 20s has been arrested by local police in Japan for secretly filming 'Demon Slayer: Infinity Train'. According to Kyodo News on the 21st, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police's Otsuka Police Station has filed charges against a Korean national, Mr. S, for copyright law violations and is currently investigating.

According to the police, Mr. S is suspected of illegally filming 'Infinity Train' using a smartphone at a movie theater in Shinjuku, Tokyo, on the 18th of last month. During a search and seizure, approximately 2 hours and 35 minutes of the entire film was found on Mr. S's smartphone.

Mr. S was previously arrested on the 30th of last month for purchasing about 200 animation Blu-ray discs using someone else's credit card. The police confirmed Mr. S's illegal filming during this process. Mr. S is currently reported to be denying the illegal filming allegations.

Meanwhile, 'Demon Slayer: Infinity Train' was released in Korea on the 22nd. It has already topped the pre-sale rates, indicating a promising box office performance.
