EXO Baekhyun Achieves Level 1 Diamond in Weibo Super Topic

Baekhyun of the group EXO has become the first Korean national celebrity to achieve Level 1 Diamond in the personal 'Super Topic' on Weibo, China's largest social networking service (SNS) platform, as announced by his agency INB100 on the 4th.

The 'Super Topic' on Weibo is a community formed around artists, works, or specific topics, and is considered an important indicator of the size and activity of fandoms. Weibo assigns a total of 9 levels to celebrities based on the activity of related communities every Monday, categorized into three tiers: Silver, Gold, and Diamond.

As of the 1st, Baekhyun became the only Korean national celebrity to reach Level 1 Diamond in his personal 'Super Topic'. INB100 stated that this achievement was a result of Baekhyun's world tour 'Reverie' performance in Macau, which took place from the 30th to the 31st of last month. Notably, the Weibo live broadcast held the day before the performance attracted about 2.19 million viewers, demonstrating high interest.

On the day of the performance, various concert-related search terms for Baekhyun ranked high, and the local song cover stage and challenges quickly spread, ranking from 1st to 3rd on the cultural and entertainment popularity chart of Douyin (the Chinese version of TikTok).
