The girl group aespa announced their sixth mini album 'Rich Man' on the 5th, aiming to achieve their seventh million seller. According to their agency SM Entertainment, this album includes a total of 6 tracks, including the title track 'Rich Man'.
The album showcases a variety of musical colors with tracks like 'Drift', which features an addictive whistling sound, 'Bubble', which metaphorically addresses hypocritical attitudes, and 'Count On Me', a dreamy R&B genre song.
The title track 'Rich Man' is a dance song that stands out with its rough electric guitar sound, featuring a catchy main melody and band sound that harmonizes with the members' unique vocals. aespa maximizes the energy of the song with concise yet striking choreography and a performance that intensifies as it progresses.
This mini album reflected high expectations with pre-order quantities reaching 1.11 million copies by the day before its release. aespa has previously recorded a total of 6 million sellers with their albums 'Girls', 'MY WORLD', 'Drama', 'Armageddon', 'Whiplash', and 'Dirty Work', so the 7th million seller is anticipated with this album.
The music video expresses the members as independent beings who maintain their own rhythm even in rough moments through car chases and rugby games. aespa plans to perform on various music program stages starting with KBS 2TV's 'Music Bank' on this day.
