The online video service (OTT) Wavve is adding 10 beloved drama and sitcom programs from the 1990s to the 2010s as 4K upscaled content. Wavve is presenting the ‘New Classic Project 2025’ featuring dramas such as ‘The Last Match’, ‘Romance’, ‘Damo’, ‘You’re Beautiful’, ‘Feeling’, ‘Autumn in My Heart’, ‘Proposal’, ‘Sangdu, Let’s Go to School’, ‘Summer Scent’, and the sitcom ‘New Nonstop’ starting today (the 2nd).

‘The Last Match’, which aired in 1994, is a youth melodrama that sparked a basketball boom in South Korea alongside the Japanese manga ‘Slam Dunk’. Rising stars at the time, including Jang Dong-gun, Son Ji-chang, Lee Jong-won, and Shim Eun-ha, became major stars through this drama. Starring Yang Dong-geun and Lee Na-young, ‘You’re Beautiful’ created numerous fans amidst the fervor of the 2002 World Cup. ‘New Nonstop’ also gained explosive popularity during its airing, marking a significant milestone in South Korean pop culture as a youth sitcom.
