Celebrating their 15th anniversary, SORAN announced on the 13th that they will transition to a solo band system led by vocalist Go Young-bae starting next year.

The agency MPMG Music stated through their official social media on the same day, "SORAN has decided to focus on their individual music activities after completing the mini-album activities scheduled for release on the 17th and the concert planned for January 2026." They added, "After the mini-album activities and concert schedule are completed, SORAN will transition to a solo system led by Go Young-bae."

Currently, SORAN consists of vocalist Go Young-bae, guitarist Lee Tae-wook, and bassist Seo Myun-ho. Lee Tae-wook and Seo Myun-ho are set to leave the band after the release of the mini-album 'DREAM' on the 17th and the winter concert in January next year.

The members of SORAN conveyed through social media, "This decision is not due to disputes or conflicts," and stated, "We have decided to do our best to say goodbye beautifully and wonderfully during the remaining time." They also expressed, "We hope to love more, laugh, and sing louder during the remaining time," adding, "SORAN's music will continue, and we dream of the day we can meet again and sing together."

SORAN debuted in 2010 with the mini-album 'Why Didn't I Know Then' and has been active for 15 years this year. The band has established a unique position in the domestic indie music scene with their distinctive musical color and Go Young-bae's unique vocals.
