Lee Je-hoon, Kim Eui-sung, Pyo Ye-jin… 'Taxi Driver' Returns! Season 3 Premieres Next Month on the 21st

SBS's popular drama 〈Taxi Driver〉 is returning for its third season. Starring Lee Je-hoon, 〈Taxi Driver 3〉 is set to premiere on Friday night, November 21.

〈Taxi Driver〉 is based on the popular webtoon of the same name, depicting the story of Kim Do-gi (played by Lee Je-hoon), a taxi driver who takes on private revenge for victims suffering injustices in the dark corners of society.

Season 1, which premiered in 2021, recorded a peak rating of 16.0%, marking a successful start, and Season 2, aired in 2023, surpassed a peak rating of 21.0%, building an even stronger fanbase.

〈Taxi Driver〉 has received great love from viewers not only domestically but also internationally, proving its potential as global content. In particular, last year, it achieved the remarkable feat of winning the Best Drama Series award at the 28th Asian Television Awards (ATA), one of Asia's most prestigious media award ceremonies, gaining international recognition for its excellence.

In this Season 3, Lee Je-hoon, who plays Kim Do-gi, along with Kim Eui-sung, Pyo Ye-jin, Jang Hyuk-jin, and Bae Yu-ram, will reunite to showcase an even stronger teamwork.

Writer Oh Sang-ho, who built the world of the 〈Taxi Driver〉 series, will also be in charge of the script for this season, while director Kang Bo-seung, who co-directed 〈Dr. Romantic 3〉, will take the helm.
