Heir of Luxury Brand 'Givenchy' Marries Korean Woman... "This Year's Best Wedding"

The heir of the French luxury brand Givenchy has made headlines by marrying a Korean woman. According to the British daily newspaper Daily Mail, Sean Thibault de Givenchy held his wedding with his Korean partner Jeong Da-hye in Paris, France.

Local French media have described their wedding as "the best wedding of the social season this year." Sean Thibault de Givenchy is known to be a descendant of Hubert de Givenchy, the founder of the world-renowned fashion house Givenchy, established in Paris in 1952.

The couple, both in their late twenties, first met at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, in 2018. After dating for seven years, they have finally tied the knot.

The wedding was grandly held at the Basilica of Saint-Clotilde in the heart of Paris. The Basilica of Saint-Clotilde is a historic building built in the mid-19th century in the Neo-Gothic style, famous for being one of the most beautiful churches in Paris.

The couple hosted a rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding at the Michelin-starred restaurant La Fontaine Gaillon in Paris. After the wedding, they held a reception at Le Pavillon Dauphin, sharing their joy with the guests. All events took place in upscale restaurants and historic venues in Paris, creating an elegant atmosphere.

Bride Jeong Da-hye revealed the wedding preparation process in an interview with Vogue France. She stated, "The wedding I dreamed of was a timeless classic with Parisian elegance," and added, "I gathered inspiration every weekend and created over 100 vision boards, and the planner perfectly realized that vision."
