Utah influencer and star of the popular reality show 'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' Whitney Leavitt faced a shocking elimination on November 18 (local time) during the ABC 'Dancing with the Stars (DWTS)' semifinals. Despite maintaining a top position on the leaderboard throughout the season, Leavitt failed to advance to the finals.
High Judge Scores but Fell Short in Votes
On the semifinals stage themed 'Prince Night', Leavitt and her partner Mark Ballas showcased a cha-cha to Prince's '1999' and a Viennese Waltz to 'Slow Love'. They received a high score of 58 points combined from both performances, placing them in a tie for 3rd with Robert Irwin and Alix Earle.
However, when combining the judges' scores and viewer votes, Leavitt and Ballas recorded the lowest score and were unfortunately eliminated. Contestants like Elaine Hendricks, Jordan Chiles, and Dylan Efron, who had lower judge scores, all advanced to the finals, creating an upset.

"I Already Feel Like a Winner"... Expresses Eternal Gratitude
After the elimination announcement, Leavitt calmly shared her thoughts. She stated, "I already feel like a winner" and "this show has completely changed my life, and I will be forever grateful". Partner Ballas also added, "We had the best time. I love this show."
Ballas revealed in an interview with E! News, "We knew and felt it," indicating that they somewhat expected the elimination, while Leavitt also mentioned, "I had a gut feeling," conveying that she was prepared for the outcome.
Leavitt's 'Mormon Wives' co-stars, including Mikayla Matthews and Layla Taylor, along with numerous fans, expressed their shock and disappointment over Leavitt's elimination through social media, showing a strong reaction.
