K-Pop representative groups Stray Kids and TWICE have achieved significant success in the American music market. Both groups have strengthened their global presence by receiving platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

According to the official RIAA website on the 26th local time, Stray Kids' 'God's Menu' and TWICE's 'Strategy' have surpassed 1 million sales in the U.S. for singles, earning them platinum certification.

The RIAA grants certifications based on digital single and album sales, with gold (over 500,000 units), platinum (over 1 million units), multi-platinum (over 2 million units), and diamond (over 10 million units) classifications.

This platinum certification is a first for both Stray Kids and TWICE. In particular, TWICE has set a record as the first K-Pop girl group to receive RIAA platinum certification.

Stray Kids has also proven their influence in the U.S. market by receiving an additional five gold certifications. Their studio album 'KARMA' received gold certification in the album category, while singles 'CASE 143', 'Special', 'Rock', and 'Chk Chk Boom' each received gold certification.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK's Jennie also received gold certification in the single category for her solo track 'ExtraL', recognizing her capabilities as a solo artist.
