The day of the 'year-end settlement' that music fans around the world have been waiting for has arrived. Spotify has unveiled the smartest 'Wrapped 2025' ever, powered by Google's latest AI technology.

On the 4th (local time), Spotify announced the launch of the 'Wrapped 2025' campaign, which summarizes the annual listening data for 2025. The biggest change this year is the groundbreaking collaboration with Google.

This year's Wrapped has incorporated Google's AI note service, 'NotebookLM'. The resulting 'AI Podcast' feature features two AI hosts who engage in natural conversations about the user's music taste, much like radio DJs.

Going beyond simply stating, "The most listened-to song is A," it humorously analyzes, saying things like, "This user suddenly switched from ballads to heavy metal? They must have some emotional ups and downs." This feature is initially available in English-speaking countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia.

◆ The Curse of 'October 31st' Has Been Broken

The data collection period, which was the biggest complaint from users, has also been improved. Spotify emphasized, "This year, we collected data from early January to the end of November, breaking the previous rule of the October 31st deadline, allowing for a more accurate year-end summary that includes listening records from November."

◆ The Evolution of My Music Taste 'Music Evolution'

The newly added 'Your Music Evolution' visualizes how the user's taste has changed over the year in up to three stages. It allows users to see at a glance how the genres they enjoyed at the beginning of the year have expanded or changed by the end of the year.

Additionally, social and multimedia features have been significantly enhanced, including 'Wrapped Party', where users can compare Wrapped results with friends and exchange fun awards, and 'Music Video Playlist', which collects music videos of favorite songs.
