Singer Hwasa has achieved two wins on terrestrial music shows with her new song ‘Good Goodbye’, reaching the peak of the ‘re-entry syndrome’. On the 6th, she won the first place trophy on MBC 〈Show! Music Core〉, followed by another win on the 7th at SBS 〈Inkigayo〉, proving her strong digital power.
On the broadcast of 〈Show! Music Core〉 on the 6th, Hwasa recorded her first music show win with ‘Good Goodbye’. Released in October, this song climbed back up the charts two months after its release, reaching first place and achieving long-term success. On the 7th, she also secured first place with the same song on 〈Inkigayo〉, marking two consecutive days at number one and achieving two wins on music shows.
‘Good Goodbye’ is a ballad that expresses the feelings of wishing happiness for a past love, featuring a lyrical melody and Hwasa's deep vocals.
The song gained attention after a special congratulatory stage with actor Park Jung-min at the 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards, achieving first place on major domestic music charts and becoming the first solo female artist to achieve a ‘Perfect All Kill (PAK)’, continuing its syndrome-level popularity. Additionally, it has made significant achievements on international charts, including entering the Billboard Global 200 and ranking high on World Digital Song Sales, further solidifying her position as a K-pop solo artist.
