
The voice that brought us laughter while shouting "Ultra Lord!" has forever fallen asleep. Jeff Garcia, the star of the animated series 'Jimmy Neutron', passed away at the age of 50.
According to local media such as TMZ on the 11th (local time), Jeff Garcia removed life support and passed away early in the morning on the 10th at a hospital in Southern California, surrounded by family and friends.
◆ Ongoing Health Decline... A Heartbreaking Farewell
The deceased had been battling serious health issues for several months before his death. Last spring, he fell and injured his head while suffering from an aneurysm, and to make matters worse, he suffered a stroke a few weeks ago, leading to a rapid decline in his condition.
His son, Joseph Garcia, expressed deep sorrow on Instagram, stating, "My father was a unique soul. I admire the passion and drive with which he lived authentically without excuses," adding, "His talent was truly one of a kind."
◆ The Voice of 'Sheen' Who Dominated the 2000s
Born in 1975 in Irvine, California, Garcia debuted as a stand-up comedian in 1991 and took the club scene by storm in the 90s.
He became known worldwide through the Nickelodeon hit 'Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius' in 2001. He voiced the quirky friend of the protagonist, 'Sheen Estevez', showcasing his distinctive voice acting, and due to this popularity, he became the lead in the spin-off series 'Planet Sheen'. He also lent his voice to numerous animations such as 'Barnyard', 'Rio', and 'Happy Feet'.
◆ A Comedian Until the Last Moment
Garcia continued to perform on stage until early November, even as his health deteriorated, igniting his passion for comedy.
Jamie Masada, the owner of the famous comedy club 'Laugh Factory', recalled, "Jeff was a special comedian with a big heart. He used his success to help the Latino community and young comedians," reflecting on his generous character.
He is survived by his ex-wife Lisa Garcia, daughter Savannah, and son Joseph.
