The actor James Ransone, who left a strong impression on fans worldwide by portraying the tragic character 'Ziggy Sobotka' in HBO's masterpiece drama 'The Wire', has passed away at the age of 46.

On the 22nd (local time), the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office officially announced that James Ransone died on the 19th (Friday) in Los Angeles. He was 46 years old.
