Netflix Animation 'Cosmic Princess Kaguya!', Released Today (22nd)

The highly anticipated Netflix animation is unveiled today (22nd).

The Netflix animation 〈Cosmic Princess Kaguya!〉 being released on the 22nd tells the story of an ordinary high school girl 'Iroha' and the free-spirited 'Princess Kaguya' who escaped from the moon, depicting dreams and friendships through music in a virtual world. 17-year-old high school student Sakayori Iroha lives a busy life juggling her studies and part-time job. Her only healing is watching the broadcasts of the popular streamer 'Lunami Yachiyo' in the online virtual space 'Tsukuyomi'. One day, on her way home, Iroha discovers a mysterious sparkling utility pole and meets Princess Kaguya, who has escaped from the moon. The two, who end up living together, start streaming together in Tsukuyomi at Kaguya's suggestion, with Iroha working as a producer and composer, while Kaguya acts as a streamer and singer, gradually building their friendship.

〈Cosmic Princess Kaguya!〉 is a work that is garnering attention as animation creator Yamashita Shingo, who directed numerous movie opening videos including 〈Jujutsu Kaisen〉 Season 1 and 〈Chainsaw Man〉, takes on the role of director for the first time in a feature-length animation. 〈Cosmic Princess Kaguya!〉 will deliver an emotional story of friendship among girls set in a vibrant virtual world, enhanced by intricate and emotional animation styles along with lively action.
