Bang Si-hyuk, Chairman of HYBE, and Park Jin-young, Founder of JYP Entertainment, have been named in the Billboard Power 100, which selects leaders in the global music industry.

Billboard announced the 2026 Power 100 list on the 28th (local time) through its official website. Chairman Bang Si-hyuk was jointly ranked 30th in the leaderboard category, which selects 40 leaders in the music industry, alongside Lee Jae-sang, CEO of HYBE, and Isaac Lee, Chairman and CEO of HYBE America.

Billboard evaluated that HYBE is expanding its global presence by introducing K-pop production systems in various regions around the world and nurturing local artists through a multi-home and multi-genre strategy. They also ranked 5th in the multi-sector category, which measures influence across various aspects from music production to consumption.

In particular, Chairman Bang Si-hyuk set a record by being selected for the Billboard Power 100 for the 6th time this year, continuing from 2020 and from 2022 to 2025. Billboard emphasized that HYBE is promoting localization strategies that go beyond simply exporting artists produced in Korea to overseas markets.

Meanwhile, Founder Park Jin-young was jointly selected 12th in the multi-sector category alongside Jung Wook, CEO of JYP, and Shin Hyun-guk, CEO of JYP America and JYP CSO. Billboard analyzed that JYP proved the global popularity of K-pop by recording $157 million (approximately 215.8 billion won based on public disclosure) in revenue in the second quarter of 2025.

In particular, the effect of the group Stray Kids' 'Dominate' world tour led to concert revenue and merchandise sales increasing by 342% and 356%, respectively, achieving the best performance of that quarter.
