On the 30th, Disney+ officially announced the production news and key casting lineup for its new original series “Nam iya General Store’s Miracle.” The story is a fantasy drama about three petty thieves hiding inside a mysterious general store that shut its doors 40 years ago, who begin writing replies to letters of worry from the past—only to get swept up in miraculous events.

Ryu Seung-ryong, the blockbuster actor, has been chosen to play Gomunjung, the store owner who is at the heart of the general store and offers warm advice. Ryu will anchor the drama with his signature, weighty yet deeply human performance. The three petty thieves teaming up with him—Kang Yoo-seok, Park Jung-woo, and Kim Sung-jeong—have been cast as emerging talents to infuse fresh energy into the project.
