With 'The King and the Man', 'Yoo Hae-jin' captured the Daesang for the film category at the 'Baeksang Arts Awards'—the 62nd ceremony. His giving is not a one-time event. Back in 2022, when the COVID-19 pandemic was at its most severe, he delivered 50 million won to support medical staff and treatment for pediatric patients. Then in 2023 as well, he made an additional donation of 50 million won. Including this '100 million won' donation, the cumulative total raised at 'Asan Medical Center' amounts to '200 million won'.

In response, 'Asan Medical Center' stated that it plans to allocate the sponsored funds to build a customized advanced treatment system for cancer patients and to improve the overall treatment environment.
