First Reactions to 〈OK! MADAM2〉: Cineplay's Star Rating

The action is flashier, but the comedy feels dated. Though most of the story takes place aboard a cruise ship, the movie adds visual variety with action set pieces staged in a magic-show venue, on the beach and inside a cave. That makes the sequel more visually dazzling than the previous installment, which was largely set on an airplane, and it also raises the intensity of the action. But the full-scale action doesn’t arrive until after the midpoint, so whether the first half’s humor lands will determine many viewers’ reactions. This is a sequel you can enjoy even if you haven’t seen the original.
