〈Possible Love〉 has unveiled story stills ahead of its November 6 release on Netflix. 〈Possible Love〉 follows a laid-off worker and his wife, and a documentary filmmaker and her husband, as the two couples meet to make a documentary and confront their very different lives and hidden desires.

The newly released story stills offer a glimpse of the four characters’ first meeting and the events that unfold as they become entangled through the documentary shoot, raising questions about what’s to come. At the funeral of a laid-off worker, Ho-seok (Sul Kyung-gu) angrily confronts Ye-ji (Cho Yeo-jeong), a documentary filmmaker holding a camera, while his wife, Mi-ok (Jeon Do-yeon), tries to stop him. The scene makes clear how differently they see the filming and foreshadows the tension that begins with their very first encounter.

Another still shows Mi-ok being interviewed by Ye-ji in the yard of her home, prompting curiosity about what she will share on camera. The expressions on Mi-ok and Ho-seok’s faces as they sit side by side, drinking, hint at the pain they have endured together as a laid-off worker and his wife, leaving viewers wondering what lies beneath the surface.

In a still featuring Mi-ok and her son, Cheol, Ye-ji catches the pair on camera, not missing a moment despite the tense atmosphere. As Ye-ji becomes increasingly involved in their lives, viewers are left wondering what changes she might bring. Meanwhile, a still of Ye-ji’s husband, Sang-woo (Zo In-sung)—born into wealth and privilege—brushing sand from Mi-ok’s knee at a seaside vacation home hints at an undercurrent between them, foreshadowing a new chapter in the characters’ relationships. Together, the story stills build anticipation for the changes these four people will undergo after meeting—and where their stories will ultimately lead.

After earning accolades including the Grand Jury Prize at the Venice International Film Festival—the first Korean film to do so—the TIFF Ebert Director Award at the Toronto International Film Festival’s Tribute Awards, and the Auteurs Award at the Mill Valley Film Festival, 〈Possible Love〉 has also drawn rave reviews from audiences in Korea. The film will be released worldwide on Netflix on November 6.
