Pop star Taylor Swift officially announced her 12th studio album 'The Life of a Showgirl' on the 12th (local time).

In this podcast, Swift appeared alongside her boyfriend Travis Kelce, a player for the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL, and the full episode is set to be released on the 13th (Korean time on the 14th).

On Swift's official website, a countdown ended at 12:12 AM on the 12th, marking the simultaneous start of pre-orders for three special limited editions of the new album: LP, cassette tape, and CD. The product descriptions state that shipping will begin before October 13, although the exact release date has not been disclosed, it is expected to be released before that date.

This new work is Swift's first album released about a year after she surprised everyone with her previous studio album, the 11th album 'The Tortured Poets Department', at the 2024 Grammy Awards.
