
The movie 'Zombie Daughter', starring Jo Jung-seok, is showcasing its unyielding popularity in its 4th week of release, maintaining its position at the top of the box office and promising a strong weekend performance.
According to the integrated ticketing system, 'Zombie Daughter' attracted over 47,000 viewers on the 21st, securing 28.8% of the revenue share to remain at the top of the box office. Since its release on the 30th of last month, it has recorded 23 consecutive days at number one, with a cumulative audience exceeding 4.73 million.
In second place is the racing film 'F1: The Movie', starring Brad Pitt. Released on June 25, 'F1: The Movie' attracted over 39,000 viewers, achieving a revenue share of 29.1%.
Director Lee Sang-geun's 'The Devil Has Arrived' ranked third, drawing over 15,000 viewers, with a revenue share of 9.2%.
Meanwhile, 'Demon Slayer: Infinity Train' (hereafter 'Infinity Train'), which premiered on the 22nd, recorded an overwhelming pre-sale rate of 80.3%, indicating a strong box office performance ahead. The number of pre-sale tickets for 'Infinity Train' reached over 889,000.
Directed by Haruo Sotozaki, 'Infinity Train' is the first installment of a trilogy that covers the final arc of the popular manga 'Demon Slayer'.
Singer Lim Young-woong's second regular album listening session 'I’m Hero 2' secured second place with a pre-sale rate of 4.5%. The listening session, scheduled for the 28th, has over 49,000 pre-sales. According to Lim Young-woong's agency, Fish Music, the ticket sales server crashed as soon as they started, and all 50,000 seats were sold out.
'Zombie Daughter' and 'F1: The Movie' recorded pre-sale rates of 3.6% with around 40,000 tickets and 2.7% with around 29,000 tickets, placing them in third and fourth respectively.
