Lee Min-jung, "After hearing that someone wanted to live after watching the play I was in, I decided to pursue a serious acting career"

Actress Lee Min-jung opened up about her acting life.

On the 9th, actress Lee Min-jung released a video on her YouTube channel titled 'Lee Min-jung Life Explanation Meeting'. In the video, Lee Min-jung explained how she started acting from her childhood and discussed her filmography, including 〈Boys Over Flowers〉.

In the video, Lee Min-jung revealed that she originally wanted to direct and enrolled in the Department of Acting Arts at Sungkyunkwan University, but felt the charm of acting while doing a play as part of her school practice. Lee Min-jung said, "The first play I was paid for was 〈The Clumsy People〉. At that time, a review of the play was posted online, and when I saw a comment saying, 'I didn't want to live at all, but after watching this play, I wanted to live,' I thought for the first time, 'I have to act.'" She added, "I thought, 'How can I make someone want to live their life?' and my heart started racing. That was in 2003."

Lee Min-jung recently appeared in the KBS2 variety show 〈Going and Coming Lee Min-jung〉 which has just ended.
