KATSEYE, a joint girl group by HYBE (Chairman Bang Si-hyuk) and Geffen Records, has not only hit major global charts but is also creating a new wave in the fashion industry. The American clothing brand GAP recently unveiled a new campaign titled 'Better in Denim' featuring KATSEYE prominently. GAP is building a trendy brand image by showcasing a dance-centered advertisement that merges fashion and music.
The advertisement video uploaded on GAP's official Instagram account on the 20th of last month (Korean time) has surpassed 61.3 million views as of 3 PM on the 10th, and the YouTube views have exceeded 20 million. GAP's Chief Marketing Officer, Fabiola Torres, expressed in an interview with the American advertising magazine Adweek, "KATSEYE is a global talent with diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and influences. They are not just a pop group but creators and style leaders with a strong fan base," showing optimism that they are a group with the power to expand without limits.
