
Online video service Wavve has confirmed the simultaneous release of tvN's new drama ‘The Chairman Project’, further strengthening its content lineup for the second half of the year.
The provision of the tvN drama ‘The Chairman Project’, starring Han Seok-kyu, Bae Hyun-sung, and Lee Rae, is the second case following ‘For the First Love’ starring Yeom Jeong-ah and Park Hae-joon. Wavve is diversifying its partnerships across dramas, variety shows, and movies based on collaborations with major broadcasting channels such as JTBC and OCN, in addition to existing partners.
‘The Chairman Project’ is a dispute resolution hero drama where a mysterious chairman, a former legendary negotiator and current chicken shop owner, navigates between illegal and legal methods to solve cases and implement justice.
Director Shin Kyung-soo, who has shown solid directing skills in the ‘Police Station Next to Fire Station’ series and ‘Six Flying Dragons’, teams up with writer Ban Gi-ri, who has showcased warm emotions and compelling storytelling in dramas like 'Who Are You' and 'Missing: They Were Here'.
Actor Han Seok-kyu plays the role of a down-to-earth neighborhood chicken shop owner and master negotiator, while Bae Hyun-sung and Lee Rae will portray principled rookie judge Jo Philip and highly capable delivery worker Lee Si-on, respectively, serving as strong allies to the chairman.
‘The Chairman Project’, which will be released on September 15, can be enjoyed every Monday and Tuesday on Wavve.
Meanwhile, Wavve is continuously supplying various new drama content, including ‘Let’s Go to the Moon’ starring Lee Sun-bin, Ra Mi-ran, Jo Ah-ram, and Kim Young-dae, ‘Mantis: The Murderer's Outing’ starring Ko Hyun-jung and Jang Dong-yoon, and ‘Eun-soo Good Day’ starring Lee Young-ae and Kim Young-kwang.
