
The symbol of 〈Exit 8〉, 'The Walking Man' met fans all over Korea.
The Japanese film 〈Exit 8〉 is based on a game of the same name, dealing with a character trapped in a place from which they can never escape unless they discover the anomaly. In this space, there appears a so-called 'Walking Man' who passes by in the same manner every time, and in the film, actor Coach Yamato plays this role.
Coach Yamato and 〈Exit 8〉 visited Korea on October 19th to meet the audience. Meeting the audience at Megabox COEX, Lotte Cinema World Tower, and CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall during the stage greeting, Coach Yamato received applause from the audience in the same outfit as in the film. In particular, he brought the setting of 'The Walking Man' to the stage greeting, communicating without words and only through expressions and nods, bringing laughter to the audience.
Afterward, 〈Exit 8〉 released photos capturing the appearance of 'The Walking Man' that appeared in various places in South Korea, raising expectations for the film. 〈Exit 8〉, which was first unveiled at the Busan International Film Festival in Korea, will be released on October 22nd.
