With just two days left until the 2026 College Scholastic Ability Test, the participation of K-Pop stars born in 2007 is a hot topic.

According to the music industry, Kyung-min from the group TWS will head to the exam hall on the 13th to take the test. Kyung-min expressed, "I want to send my support to all test takers," and added, "I will study hard and do my best."

Han Yoo-jin from Zero Base One, Dong-hyun from Kickflip, and Yu Sa-rang from the girl group IZN also challenge the exam.

On the other hand, many K-Pop stars of the same age who are actively working both domestically and internationally have decided not to take the exam this year.

IVE's Lee Seo, Baby Monster's Ah-hyun and Ra-mi, MEOVV's Na-rin, Hatz to Hatz's Yu-ha and Stella, ILLIT's Won Hee, USPEER's So-i and Si-an, among others, will not be taking the exam.

Starship Entertainment, Lee Seo's agency, stated, "After long discussions regarding Lee Seo's participation in the exam, it was decided based on her desire to focus on activities for now," and added, "We will determine her future academic path based on the artist's opinions while continuing her activities."

In the music industry, it has become common for artists to focus on music activities instead of taking the exam for several years. IVE's Jang Won-young and Liz, ENHYPEN's Jung-won, New Jeans' Hae-rin, and Le Sserafim's Hong Eun-chae have also chosen to focus on their activities instead of pursuing higher education.
