In celebration of the 'Ahn Sung-ki Special Exhibition' at Picturehouse, a time to remember him has been arranged.
The independent art cinema Picturehouse on Garosu-gil announced that it will hold a special exhibition 'Ahn Sung-ki in the 21st Century' from Thursday, February 5 to Thursday, March 5 for a month. Picturehouse stated that it prepared this exhibition with the hope of long remembering the actor Ahn Sung-ki, who has always resonated with contemporary audiences and has met the public as a father with deep-set wrinkles and a kind smile.
The main screenings of this exhibition include the Houston Film Festival Best Actor Award-winning film 〈Paper Flower〉, along with 〈In the Name of the Son〉, 〈Broken Arrow〉, 〈Makeup〉, and 〈Cassiopeia〉. During the exhibition period, an exhibition will also be held in the gallery located in the theater lobby. It will feature stills of actor Ahn Sung-ki captured by Korea's top photographer Koo Bon-chang (including stills used for the portrait 〈Our Joyful Young Days〉 and the unreleased poster photo of 〈Paper Flower〉 from his last collaboration with Koo Bon-chang), as well as stills and on-site images from the screening films, and related video materials will be displayed.
The 'Ahn Sung-ki in the 21st Century' project is preparing a GV (Guest Visit) program with the directors and actors who worked together, and the attendees and moderators will be announced as soon as they are confirmed.
