‘Save Me! Holmes’ Chef Park Eun-young, Explosive Variety Show Madness… Together with Yoon Nam-no, Exploring the ‘Black and White Zone’ in Yongsan and Gangnam

MBC’s variety show 〈Save Me! Holmes〉 embarks on an exploration of the chefs who are at the center of the Netflix phenomenon, known as the ‘Black and White Zone’. In the episode airing on the 5th, ‘Goddess of Chinese Cuisine’ Park Eun-young and ‘Cooking Fool’ Chef Yoon Nam-no will team up with the entertainment industry’s top gourmet Kim Sook to directly explore the commercial and residential areas of Yongsan and Gangnam.

This broadcast is particularly anticipated as it will provide an in-depth analysis of the areas where the restaurants of the chefs appearing in the hit variety show 〈Black and White Chef 2〉 are concentrated. The three will not only look at the actual living spaces of the leading chefs in Yongsan but also reveal behind-the-scenes stories that have been shrouded in mystery, stimulating viewers' curiosity.

With her bold dance moves, model Joo Woo-jae exclaimed, "You are the most brazen person I've seen recently," while comedian Yang Se-hyung jokingly remarked, "There’s a madness in her eyes," making the scene burst into laughter. Chef Park Eun-young’s unexpected charm also shone during the analysis of the local commercial areas, where she compared the Yongsan area to a “blind date set up by a friend” and the Gangnam area to a “matchmaking set up by mom,” showcasing her excellent sense of variety.

In this episode, there will also be a competition to create ‘Holmes-style nicknames’ parodying the unique nicknames of the participants from 〈Black and White Chef〉. Jang Dong-min was given the nickname ‘Tearful Bingsu’, while the slender Joo Woo-jae was humorously nicknamed ‘Yeoksam-dong Bone Broth’, causing laughter.

The highlight was the nickname ‘Calculating Fool’ given to Yang Se-hyung. Upon hearing the undeniable nickname, Yang Se-hyung expressed a complex mix of feelings, saying it was funny yet offensive, which left the scene in chaos. Meanwhile, Chef Yoon Nam-no, who was watching Chef Park Eun-young’s variety show antics throughout the exploration, teased her by saying, "Just focus on cooking," showcasing their playful chemistry and raising expectations for the main broadcast.
