ENHYPEN and aespa Receive 'Platinum' Certification from the Japan Record Association

SEVENTEEN Unit and ILLIT Achieve 'Gold'... January K-Pop Performance Report in Japan Released

The group ENHYPEN and aespa showcased their local popularity by receiving 'Platinum' certification from the Japan Record Association.

According to the Japan Record Association on the 10th, ENHYPEN's seventh mini-album 'THE SIN: VANISH' and aespa's Japanese debut single 'Hot Mess' have both achieved Gold Disc Platinum certification.

As of January, both albums surpassed a cumulative shipment of 250,000 copies, meeting the criteria for Platinum status.

The Japan Record Association grants certifications based on cumulative shipments of singles and albums each month, with Gold (over 100,000 copies), Platinum (over 250,000 copies), Double Platinum (over 500,000 copies), and Triple Platinum (over 750,000 copies) ratings.

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN's unit mini-album 'Soya Song' by DK and Seungkwan, along with ILLIT's first Japanese single 'Toki Yo Tomare', have also received Gold certification, continuing the strong presence of K-Pop artists in the Japanese music market.
