Christian Bale X Jessie Buckley 'The Bride!', Reunion of Madness with the 'Joker' Production Team

〈The Bride!〉 has once again hinted at an alluring world of madness with the core production team from 〈Joker〉 joining in.

〈The Bride!〉 is set in 1930s America, telling the story of the lonely Frankenstein (Christian Bale) who resurrects the Bride (Jessie Buckley) at his request, as they break all the molds of the world and embark on a radical love journey. The fantastic acting chemistry between Christian Bale and Jessie Buckley, along with the presence of the main production team, raises expectations for the film even more.

Cinematographer Lawrence Sher, who was nominated for an Academy Award and BAFTA for 〈Joker〉, and won the Golden Frog Award at Camerimage, has taken the camera for 〈The Bride!〉. Having worked on over 35 feature films, including 〈Garden State〉, 〈The Hangover〉 trilogy, and 〈Due Date〉, Lawrence Sher captures the madness of the two protagonists that lingers in the night of 1930s America.

Hildur Guðnadóttir, who stunned the world by winning various music awards with the soundtrack of 〈Joker〉, will compose the music. Having won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Music Composition and the Grammy Award for Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media for the HBO series 〈Chernobyl〉, she made history as the first woman to win a Golden Globe for Best Original Score for 〈Joker〉. Additionally, she shook the film music world that year with the same work, winning Critics' Choice, BAFTA, and Academy Awards for Best Music, completing the emotional narrative of the piece with delicate yet bold musical storytelling.

Producer Emma Tillinger Koskoff, who has been nominated for an Academy Award three times for 〈The Wolf of Wall Street〉, 〈The Irishman〉, and 〈Joker〉, has participated in the production of 〈The Bride!〉, completing the 'golden lineup'. Actress Maggie Gyllenhaal, who successfully made her directorial debut with 〈The Lost Daughter〉, will take the helm of 〈The Bride!〉, which is set to be released in Korea on March 4th.
