A new frontier for romance fantasy: A perfect lineup takes shape

Global streaming platform 'Disney+' has officially set Nov. 4 as the launch date for its original series 'The Remarried Empress', one of the most anticipated releases of the second half of the year. Armed with sweeping scale and a bold storyline, the new series is drawing attention from viewers around the world.

Adapted from the mega-hit novel comic of the same name, 'The Remarried Empress' is a meticulous political fantasy that goes beyond a simple romance. The series follows Navier, the perfect empress of the Eastern Empire, as she accepts her emperor's unilateral demand for a divorce and simultaneously declares her intention to marry the prince of the neighboring Western Kingdom. It portrays her determined journey and the intense intrigue of court life.

The lavish cast, which is expected to elevate the series' quality to new heights, stands out above all. 'Shin Min-a' plays Navier, creating the portrait of a graceful yet formidable ruler. 'Ju Ji-hoon' takes on the role of Emperor Sovieshu, who stands opposed to Navier, and will bring his character's layered emotions to life with nuance. 'Lee Se-young' plays Rashta, a runaway slave whose presence heightens the tension, while 'Lee Jong-suk' portrays Heinley, the prince of the Western Kingdom and Navier's steadfast ally. Together, they promise a seamless acting ensemble.
