
Paramount has confirmed that the documentary 'Stans', which focuses on Eminem's fans, will begin streaming on Paramount+ in the U.S. on August 26.
The term 'stan' originated from Eminem's 2000 hit song. Twenty-five years after the release of this song about a fan whose love turns into obsession, the documentary 'Stans' explores Eminem's most devoted followers and their complex relationships with their idol.

'Stans' is heading to the home market after a 4-day theatrical run at AMC screens. Director Steven Leckart shared his thoughts on the streaming release in a statement.

'Stan' is considered one of the most critically acclaimed and successful rap songs in history. It topped charts in 12 countries and was later included in Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. The iconic music video featuring Devon Sawa as the titular character Stan was nominated for 5 categories at the MTV Video Music Awards.

The feature-length documentary 'Stans' tells the story of Eminem's career while showcasing how his fanbase has evolved over the years. It combines dramatic reenactments, archival footage, and interviews.
