
The Japanese animated film 'Demon Slayer: Mugen Train' (hereafter 'Mugen Train') is expected to firmly hold the number one spot at the domestic box office this weekend. According to the integrated ticketing system, on the 5th, 'Mugen Train' attracted about 62,000 viewers, recording a revenue share of 46.6%. The cumulative audience number has reached over 3.458 million.
The horror film 'The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It', which premiered on the 3rd, was watched by about 28,000 people on that day, securing a revenue share of 19.7% and taking second place at the box office. The racing film 'F1: The Movie', starring Brad Pitt, attracted about 13,000 viewers, achieving a revenue share of 9.1% and ranking third.
The comedy film 'Zombie Daughter', starring Jo Jung-seok, was viewed by about 12,000 people the previous day, with a cumulative audience number of over 5.411 million.
In terms of ticket sales, 'Mugen Train' also showed strong performance. As of 1 PM, the ticket sales rate was 42.5%, with approximately 196,000 pre-sold tickets, maintaining the top position in the ticket sales ranking. The new film 'Nothing Can Be Done', directed by Park Chan-wook, which is set to be released on the 24th, follows with a ticket sales rate of 9.2% and about 42,000 pre-sold tickets.
The thriller film 'Murder Report', starring Jo Yeo-jeong and Jung Sung-il, which premiered on the same day, recorded a ticket sales rate of 7.7% and approximately 35,000 pre-sold tickets, marking the third highest pre-sale volume.
