An actor with limitless potential in action acting. Mentioning 'potential' to a veteran actor with 11 years of experience and about 22 films in their filmography might be somewhat cautious, but Jung Yoon-jin is undoubtedly an actor with expansion capabilities. 〈Humint〉 is a work that clearly showcases Jung Yoon-jin's expansiveness and potential. Just as Jung Yoon-jin transitioned from model to actor, she successfully transformed from an actress optimized for romance to an action star, achieving another career shift.
Set to be released on February 11, 〈Humint〉 is truly a film that encapsulates all of Ryu Seung-wan's dreams. It features deep melodrama, creative action, and a cold espionage thriller. In 〈Humint〉, the relationships between Jo In-sung, Park Jung-min, Shin Se-kyung, and Park Hae-joon intertwine and mix, creating various dynamic scenes. Notably, the scenes featuring darts with Park Gun (Park Jung-min), the stair action between Park Gun and Assistant Manager Im (Jung Yoon-jin), and the drift action in front of the racetrack are all filled with unique moments that provide plenty of visual enjoyment. However, one disappointing aspect is that the action scenes of Chae Sun-hwa (Shin Se-kyung), who is the 'Humint' and the catalyst for all events in the film, are almost nonexistent, making Assistant Manager Im Jung-yoon the only female character performing action in 〈Humint〉.

Assistant Manager Im is a National Intelligence Service agent working with Section Chief Jo (Jo In-sung), possessing sharp analytical skills and the ability to perform tasks effectively. To borrow Jo In-sung's words, if Section Chief Jo is a person who belongs to an organization of type T, then Assistant Manager Im is likely a person of type T belonging to an organization of type T. Assistant Manager Im both restrains and supports Section Chief Jo, actively stepping in, and quietly yet strongly establishes her presence in the cold, gray mood of 〈Humint〉.
Jung Yoon-jin began her journey into action with the drama 〈Snowdrop〉 and has officially transitioned into an action actress with 〈Humint〉. Jung Yoon-jin has stated in her YouTube channel 'Yujin Jung' that when asked about what she does best, she replied, "I handle guns well. And I drive well." The combination of these two strengths she identified became the work that allowed her to showcase her charm in 〈Humint〉. This is because the 'drift action scene' in front of the auction house, which is considered a highlight of the film, featured her character, Assistant Manager Im. Particularly in the stair action scene where she faces off against Park Jung-min one-on-one, it was noted by Park Jung-min that "Yoon-jin acted without holding back, to the point where everyone was worried," suggesting that Jung Yoon-jin is indeed on her way to finding her true calling.

In fact, Jung Yoon-jin is an actress who moves well, as expected from a former model. In the film 〈Boss〉, which was released last Chuseok and succeeded at the box office, Jung Yoon-jin played the role of a tango teacher to the dancing-obsessed Jung Kyung-ho. Dong Gang-pyo (Jung Kyung-ho) falls in love at first sight when he accidentally sees Gil Yeon-im (Jung Yoon-jin) dancing tango during his time in prison. Of course, it was not Gil Yeon-im he fell for, but the tango. As a character who captivates others with tango in a single moment, Jung Yoon-jin's portrayal of Gil Yeon-im was equipped with not only the skill of an actual tango dancer but also an irresistible gaze and charm. Surprisingly, Jung Yoon-jin was introduced to tango through 〈Boss〉 and prepared for the role of Gil Yeon-im by practicing more than three times a week for 3-4 months. She learned the basic movements, walking, and breathing to create the captivating Gil Yeon-im.

At one point, Jung Yoon-jin was known as a 'one-sided love specialist.' In fact, she had a one-sided love for Lee Jong-suk twice. From the dramas 〈W〉, 〈Something in the Rain〉, to 〈Romance is a Bonus Book〉, Jung Yoon-jin has portrayed numerous 'career women' who excel in their work. Perhaps this is partly due to Jung Yoon-jin's urban and sophisticated looks, but the characters she has played are far too diverse to be summed up simply as 'career women.' For instance, in 〈Romance is a Bonus Book〉, the character she played, Song Hae-rin, is a so-called 'T-type career woman' and breaks the mold of the typical love triangle. Known for her sharpness, she is called 'Gak Hae-rin' and scolds the new employee Oh Ji-yul (Park Gyu-young) sharply, but she harbors various feelings of love within. The scene where she inserts a confession letter into Cha Eun-ho's (Lee Jong-suk) bookshelf after being rejected is considered 'the best confession rejection scene in Korean drama history.' Even after the breakup, instead of being jealous of her ex's new partner, she calmly accepts the rejection and healthily ties up her love, charmingly dismantling the existing romantic tropes and the typical portrayal of career women. Jung Yoon-jin garnered much sympathy from viewers as she welcomed a new character, Ji Seo-jun (Wi Ha-jun), into her narrative of finding her own love after love has passed.

From the one-sided love of Assistant Manager Song, who loved Lee Jong-suk, to the cold National Intelligence Service agent Assistant Manager Im. From the pastel-like vibrant colors to the gray of Vladivostok, Jung Yoon-jin transitions so dramatically that it is hard to believe she is the same actress. Although she is a veteran with 11 years of experience, she is an actress whose future is even more anticipated.
